Mindy Sherbet

Mindy’s background began in the business sector, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Northeastern University which led to a career in management. With continued volunteer focus on helping others, Mindy began working with women who were extricating themselves from domestic violence relationships which spurred her attaining a Master of Social Work degree from Simmons University to provide more in-depth clinical care.

She has worked with individuals, couples, and families across a range of ages throughout the lifespan. She is especially adept at working with those who have interpersonal challenges, life transition difficulties, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. Her warmth, curiosity, and sincere interest in people lends itself to a safe and comforting atmosphere, while gently challenging and guiding others to become aware of behavioral patterns that exacerbate their struggles. Mindy excels at integrating skills and life lessons from her previous careers into a holistic therapeutic approach that is both practical and realistic.

Mindy holds a Master of Social Work degree from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business/Marketing from Northeastern University. She is licensed in Florida, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.
